Based on Google Reviews
We use Google reviews, because we know that they are submitted by verified users. This also means that the credibility is higher than many other platforms. Negative reviews cannot be hidden by the business owner.
Must Have a 4.7+ Star Rating Overall
We feel that this is pretty generous. If a business is below a 4.7 star rating, they likely are not responding to negative reviews and reconciling customer issues. So we like to see businesses closer to 4.9 stars to show consistency.
Must Represent a Specific Location
While national chains or companies with multiple locations can be eligible, we don’t allow large headquarters of businesses to be on the list. Their reviews do not necessarily represent their presence in their local community, which we think is important.
1. Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating and Air – Seattle, WA
Seatown Electric Plumbing Heating and Air is a Seattle-based company. And they are boasting a HUGE number of reviews. Even more impressive is their frequent responses from owners on almost all the reviews, showing that they take their online reputation very seriously.
2. Express Electrical Services – Los Angeles, CA
Express Electrical Services seems to deliver on their name. That is because they have many reviews mentioning their quick response time and their commitment to timeliness with appointments. When electrical problems happen, that seems like a good priority as a company!
3. Powell Electric – Los Angeles, CA
Powell Electric is our second LA company featured. With more than 1500+ reviews, they are clearly doing something right. Their overall rating is brought down by some 1 star reviews, though. Their website states that they are family-owned. Now that is great to see with such a large online presence!
4. Mister Sparky – San Antonio, TX
Mister Sparky is a national chain of electricians with multiple locations. And this particular location has stood out among the rest as a customer-favorite. Safety is mentioned many times in their reviews, which is a great reputation to have in this industry!
5. GEN3 Electric & HVAC – Philadelphia, PA
GEN3 Electric & HVAC is a powerhouse on multiple review platforms. They also have a very strong brand with a dog logo and vibrant colors. You will definitely spot their crews around town.
6. Mister Sparky of Denver – Denver, CO
Mister Sparky of Denver is our second Mister Sparky location to make the top 10. While they don’t have as many reviews as their San Antonio location, Denver has made a strong showing with an overall 4.9 star rating. That is not easy!
7. United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric – San Diego, CA
As a location of another national chain, United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric should be proud of San Diego! They offer an extensive variety of services, which makes them a great option for those with multiple projects to check off their list.
8. Young Electric LLC – Portland, OR
Young Electric LLC is a Portland-based company boasting 40+ years of experience. They’ve got many reviews mentioning their quick scheduling process and professional crew of technicians.
9. Point Loma Electric & Plumbing – San Diego, CA
Point Loma Electric & Plumbing has many reviews specifically offering shoutouts to their technicians by name. That is a sign of a strong emphasis on building rapport with their customers.
10. Mr. Electric of Phoenix Metro – Phoenix, AZ
Mr. Electric of Phoenix Metro has a very impressive 4.9 star rating overall. They offer a very wide range of electric services, with many happy customers on various review platforms.
