2019 Client Update
Boolean Review System
We launched Boolean in Q1 of 2017 at the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Meeting. Now that we have celebrated our 2-year anniversary, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past two years, and we want to look forward to what our plans are as far as our software, Boolean Process, and free resources.
We launched Boolean at the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Meeting in San Francisco in October of 2017. So we are coming up on a year and a half since we launched. At that meeting, we signed up our first 10 clients (those of you reading this know who you are). Since our launch, we have continued to add several clients a month until now. In the past 16 months, we have been able to maintain roughly a 90% retention rate with our clients.
We have made improvements to our messaging platform. We now have the ability to send email directly from your business email account, and we no longer have limitations on the character length of text messages. Lastly, we also added our first international client, and have enabled our platform to be able to send emails and text messages to any place in the world.
A New Focus
When we set out, we wanted to build the best and most beautiful software system we could to make it as easy as possible for happy patients to review dental practices.
However, when we started investigating and looking into what the highest-rated dentists in the country are doing we realized that the software was only a small part of what allows practices to achieve high ratings and a lot of them from their patients. We found that there is a huge need for a process and staff education around providing the best patient experience possible. Which then, in turn, leads to positive reviews.
Moving forward, we are beginning to invest more energy and time into creating amazing resources to help you and your offices better utilize the Boolean Review System.
We have simplified our plan offerings. We now just offer two different plans, a Single Office plan and a Corporate plan (meaning any practice with two or more locations). We will be transitioning all existing accounts to one of those two plans in this coming month. You can check out our pricing page (booleanreview.com/pricing) for more information.
If the new pricing is an issue for you, please let us know and we will be happy to cancel your account.
After having several really good phone conversations with some of the highest-rated dentists in the country, I was inspired to share these conversations with our clients. That lead me to create a podcast to share these interviews with you and spread the knowledge that is allowing the best of the best to succeed in the world of reviews.
Patient Flow Diagrams
This is another thing that I am really excited about. Through our conversations and onboarding new clients, we realized that there was a big need to actually diagram the touchpoints that dentist has with their patients. The patient flow diagrams help practices identify when the optimal time is to bring up the topic of reviews and ask patients to share their experience. We now have a page on our website with diagrams that you can download. These diagrams are the same diagrams that we have already made for our clients based on the different specialties. You can find these diagrams under the resource section on our website.
We also are going to be publishing micro-content on Instagram. The information that we share on Instagram will be based on the Boolean Articles and podcast conversations that we are having with the highest-rated dentists in the country.
These posts will include quotes, tips, and other helpful information summarized in a nice visual form to help you learn what the highest-rated dentists are actually doing on a daily basis to achieve a high number of reviews.
